Zero Tolerance Policy
As a result of the recent increase in abuse at Football matches
of all ages the Football Association and all leagues that Burham Football Club
are represented in are setting strict codes of conduct in a combined effort to
eradicate the sport of this problem.
Therefore Burham Football Club is asking its players and
supporters to adhere to this policy.
All Players and
Supporters should not:-
·
Argue with the Referee or Assistant Referees
·
Attempt to Referee the game by constantly appealing for throw-ins, free kicks,
offside etc
·
Use obscene language
·
Use violence, abusive or threatening behaviour
All Players and
Supporters should:-
·
Understand the Laws of the Game and to adhere to them at all times
·
Win but NOT by unfair methods
·
When playing or watching, praise, skilful play by both sides
·
Take victory modestly and defeat graciously
Always ensure
that you as a Player or Supporter behave, on or off the field. Never forget

NEWSLETTER - MARCH 2007
TEAM NEWS
Adult team are top in their league at the moment with 5 games
to go so good luck to Len and the lads in the last few games.
Under 13’s are now in a relegation battle 4 points adrift of the team
above, but not in bottom position. On the plus side, they now have a fully fit
and available squad to choose from for the first time in 4 months!
Under 12’s after a struggle to score goals a 17-1 win at Coxheath on
Sunday 18th February has moved them off the bottom of the table. Hopefully this
will boost the team’s confidence and help them move even further up the table.
Under 11’s have dropped to second place in division 4 due to another team
dropping out of the league, therefore 6 points and the15 goals scored against
them were deducted! They are still pushing for runners up so Good Luck!
Under 9’s got through to the semi-final of the consultation cup but sadly
lost. In the league they are looking to stay in Division 2 this year, which will
be a great achievement.
Under 8’s team have had a fantastic first season by finishing as
Champions of the East Division !!! They are our first junior team to win a
league so well done to Lee and Joe and the team !!!!!!!!!
Under 7’s team are looking for friendly matches in preparation for the
new season. If you have a team interested in playing please contact Paul on
